Hello Issue: My build with the Realtek LAN card is not functioning properly. I recently upgraded my AMD drivers to version 24.1.1 and updated the BIOS on my ASUS Prime X670-P CSM to version v.2214. After rebooting, the connection remained stuck in "identifying" mode for Ethernet adapter: Realtek Gaming 2.5Gb E Family controller. Troubleshooting steps included restarting the PC multiple times, running the ipconfig command via CMD, disabling the adapter, uninstalling it, updating drivers, and testing with a different cable directly from the router (normally connected via switch). From this point onward, the behavior became erratic. I tried reinstalling the BIOS to v1811 but it didn’t help. Resetting CMOS and default settings didn’t resolve the issue. Setting up a static IP directly on the router worked fine, but Windows displayed an error saying I’m disconnected. The VPN connection also failed despite similar problems. I’m wondering if I can fix this without reinstalling Windows. Other devices on my network seem to work normally. Thank you all for your help. Have a great day (at least a better one than today).
