Completed a fresh installation. All details are listed below. This is my first time turning it on and pressing DEL; I never received BIOS. It seems I might need to update the MOBO (PC Partpicker indicated the Ryzen 7 5700X works with MSI B550 A Pro after a BIOS update). Specifications: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X Radeon RX 6600 2x16GB Crucial Pro 32 DDR4 3200MHz MSI B550-A PRO Corsair RM650 80+ Gold Western Digital Black SN770 1 TB M.2 Here’s what I’ve done so far: 1. Saved the latest BIOS for my motherboard, copied it to a fat32 flash drive, renamed the file MSI.DOS 2. Inserted the drive into the BIOS flash port, pressed the BIOS flash button, and waited the full five minutes (confirmed by similar YouTube guides). 3. After updating, the PC still won’t boot into BIOS. I even reset CMOS by rubbing a screwdriver tip between the two pins under the battery. Could it be a faulty GPU? I saw a suggestion to try booting with just one RAM stick instead of two, but when I removed the fourth stick from the slot, the machine wouldn’t power on at all. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!
