Problem PC Trapped in Endless Fix Cycle
Hello everyone,
I want to apologize for my English, since it isn’t my first language.
I’ve been facing this issue for a while and hoped I could resolve it eventually, but it hasn’t worked.
While working on a project on my PC, it suddenly shut down and restarted repeatedly. It kept looping through the automatic repair process without reaching the troubleshooting screen.
I searched online for solutions, trying things like:
- Changing the RAM
- Reapplying thermal paste
- Replacing the SSD (assuming it was damaged)
But when I attempted to install Windows on the new SSD, I faced a blue screen, followed by a black screen, and the PC restarted again. This cycle of blue, black, and restarting kept happening.
Accessing the BIOS showed everything appeared normal.
I’m unsure what’s causing the problem or what steps to take next. Have anyone else experienced something similar? Do you know what might have led to this?
PC Specs:
Motherboard: 450 Aorus Elite
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060
RAM: ADATA XPG Gammix D10 16GB
SSD: 256GB Gigabyte for Windows
Hard Disk: 1TB
Power Supply: Seasonic S12III 550W 80+ Bronze
The Windows setup failed. Attempt to fix it or reinstall using your backup drives. You should have made backups, right? Remember Rule #1: always back up backups. If not, start over with a new Windows install and reinstall all necessary software from the old drive.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Is this the model you're using? What BIOS version are you running?
Power Supply: Seasonic S12III 550W 80+ Bronze
This PSU isn't exactly a reliable build, even with the Seasonic branding.
When installing Windows on the new SSD, I faced a blue screen followed by a black screen, and the PC restarted itself.
Where did you obtain the installer for your operating system? Did you make a bootable USB to avoid a corrupted one? If I were you, I'd disconnect all drives except the one you want to install the OS on.
The PSU is around four years old, and the PC was assembled in 2020. The bootable USB was made from the official Windows site, but even after swapping all storage drives with fresh ones, I still can't install Windows. This suggests another part might be responsible for the problem.
How many hard drives are currently running on your computer? Are there specific steps needed for a Windows setup? Could there be another storage device with Windows installed?
Right now, I just have a brand new SSD from last week. I'm attempting to install a new system on it, so I believe there are no drivers or other Windows-installed drives available.
You think? What does file manager tell you? If there is a second drive, the windows installation could be shared between the two. Is there or not a second or third data drive installed?
Since you can't get into file manager.... I am tying to ask you if you are positive there is only one drive installed in your system. You are physically inspect the unit visually for drive layout. It makes a BIG difference!
If only one drive is available, selecting the appropriate installation tool is crucial. Consider USB clean or re-install options. Prepare Windows 11 Installation Media for a fresh setup on a new or refurbished system.
