has an unusual issue here. He recently installed a new RAM, but the computer starts up yet nothing functions—keyboard, mouse, and screen are unresponsive. I suggested a CMOS reset, but it didn’t help. He switched RAM slots without success either. No power to any components except the CPU, which matches what I described. The specs are an i7-7700H, 8GB DDR3, 1060, 3GB LPDDR3, and a V3700P motherboard. Any suggestions?

Experienced with a comparable issue under nearly identical settings. Required multiple hours to remove and reposition the RAM. Ensure even pressure is applied across the die during installation, keeping components straight and fully inserted. This can help prevent problems where the latch doesn’t make proper contact even if it latches correctly.
