Problem! Motherboard isn't turning on. Solution found.
I recently assembled a new PC and it functioned properly. However, after two weeks I became dissatisfied with the fans, so I rearranged them and organized the cables. After reinserting everything, the machine wouldn’t power on at all—no lights or signals detected. When I connected it to another build using the same cables and outlet, it started working. This suggests the issue was with the motherboard. I reinserted all cables firmly and still couldn’t get it to turn on. I experimented with different power switches but had no success. Feeling discouraged, I opted to purchase another motherboard from Best Buy, the identical model. After swapping it out and reinstalling the cables, power still didn’t come on. I’m confused about what’s wrong and feel really frustrated. Am I making a mistake? Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON AC PSU: CORSAIR RM850x Processor: I7-9700kf RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE 2x8GB GPU: MSI RTX 2070 Super Update: I FIGURED IT OUT! The Corsair PSU was behaving oddly and possibly affecting the board. I replaced it with another unit and it worked again! Edited February 9, 2020 by KdMel Solution was found
