Problem following Windows 10 Update for Creator (BUG?)
Problem following Windows 10 Update for Creator (BUG?)
Following the Falls Creator update, my PC began to operate more sluggishly. The first sign was an increase in System Memory Usage while idle, rising to 3.1GB out of a total 32GB RAM, compared to just 2.6GB before the update. It’s unclear if this is typical post-update behavior. Currently, background applications like Anti Virus, MSI Gaming App, MSI AfterBurner, RivaTuner, Razer Synapse, and CCleaner are running quietly. During startup everything functions normally and boot speed remains quick, though every restart now takes over four minutes. Restarting once is still fast—under seven seconds—which is normal given the M.2 SSD. This behavior was unusual before; it feels strange since it didn’t happen prior to the update. Another observation is that memory usage spikes during gaming, web browsing, or software use, then drops to around 8GB when the system is off. However, if I restart without a reboot, usage returns to about 3.1GB or lower. If I leave it on, it can exceed 12GB. Restarting feels very slow. No one has mentioned this before, so it might be a new issue. If you have any ideas or solutions, please let me know.
