First I will share my specifications then describe the issue.
MB
- ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F
GPU
- RX 390 8gb
CPU
- Ryzen 5 5600x 4.6ghz
I have one stick of G.Skill Aegis 16gb 3200
After downloading Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, I returned a few hours later to find my computer unresponsive, with black screens and no lights on the keyboard or mouse. I couldn’t use the restart or power buttons; I had to unplug it. After reconnecting, I still faced black screens and no lights in the peripherals. The fans are working on the CPU/case but not the GPU. There’s an orange light on the motherboard. I’ve moved the RAM to different slots without success and even reset the BIOS.
I’m really confused about what to do next and hope someone can help!
Thanks in advance!

Initially, even if you manage to install MSFS2020, it won't function properly on your device.
Thirdly, the system freezing wasn't caused by downloading the game. It seems there might be a problem with your hardware. Could you tell me what operating system you're running? Are there any other games you've been using recently?

On Windows 10, I've previously used MSFS2020 without any issues.

As mentioned before, efforts have been made to relocate the RAM and reset the BIOS. The power supply unit in question is a Thermaltake SMART RGB PS-SPR-0700NHSAWE.

Take out every disk and disc...check functionality.
If disconnecting the monitor doesn't resolve the issue, proceed to test further.

Removed the gpu...test line. Check if any other connections are present. Ask about additional items like a mouse, keyboard, or RAM.

So far I've kept only the CPU, PSU, CPU cooler, and heatsink inside, but it's still not working. I'm planning to ask someone else to lend me a PSU from another kid's computer and give it a try next.

Changed the PSU to another one, but nothing worked, so I guess the issue is with the MB, even though it was only a couple of years ago.
