I just set up Windows after completing my build, but I can’t find any WiFi adapters to connect. It says I need to install the driver, yet I don’t have a WiFi connection available.

Link your device to your laptop using a USB cable, enable USB tethering, and transfer your phone’s Wi-Fi network to your computer to complete the driver installation.

Checked the video guide for instructions on enabling the adapter, but it didn’t display anything initially.

did you link up with the motherboard usb port? you’ll need to wait a bit, at least that helped me in a similar issue with wifi drivers—it should function on its own now. another way is to head to the area with the router and connect via ethernet using the cable provided in the box; there should be one inside your router. a less practical choice would be to retrieve the cd from the box where the wifi card was shipped, though most systems no longer have a cd reader, making it a suboptimal solution.

Sure, I got it. Ethernet makes sense, just locate a suitable option and the CD is a solid choice, though I don’t have a drive for it.

Choose to link Ethernet or transfer the driver from another device to a USB drive.
