Problem encountered with the Star Citizen update.

I'm having an annoying issue with Star Citizen. For the life of me, I cannot get a patch to install. At all. I've tried re-downloading it, reinstalling SC, disabling antivirus, etc. But no matter what I do, I can't get the game to patch, thereby causing it to be unlaunchable. Anyone else have a similar problem, or have had it and managed to fix it? Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing.

You've encountered a comparable problem. Within the game folder, attempt removing the 'user' directory. It's astonishing how often this resolves the issue.

Try reinstalling again if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure, but this seems like a strange issue...

You are playing a pre-alpha, so even pretty big bugs like these are not supposed to be surprising.

Consider checking the RSI forums and connecting with the technical team there. The developers and support staff are very knowledgeable and more experienced than us, so they can offer much better assistance.
