XMP functions mainly by boosting memory performance. It usually succeeds, but it’s something you should only try once it’s confirmed to work. The incompatibility between RAM types can complicate things further. Keep in mind the other considerations too. This processor gets quite hot just by being in the BIOS settings, suggesting a potential cooling issue. Would you like to share a screenshot of the complete BIOS display?

XMP is memory overclocking. It is basically guaranteed by the manufacturer to work, but there is no such thing as a 100% success rate. Disable it for now. And with mismatched ram it is even less likely to work properly. So just leave it off until your computer works.

It seems the main concern is your PC getting too hot because the CPU cooler isn't functioning properly or wasn't set up correctly. Address this before moving forward.

This leads us to the issue many people discussed: did you or the seller install Windows on the hard drive? Regardless, your main focus should be on the CPU. It's overheating. Do you have a cooler available? If you installed it yourself, remove it and check if the thermal paste was applied correctly—this helps prevent future problems. Make sure to clear any plastic covering the heat sink. If you purchased it new from a store and had it assembled, bring it back to the retailer.

Install Windows on an SSD rather than the motherboard. Obtain a USB drive with at least 8GB capacity, connect it to a functioning PC or laptop, download either Windows 11 or Windows 10 using a media creation tool, open the downloaded file and proceed through the instructions. After creation, insert the USB into the BIOS-compatible PC, restart and select the installation option, then pick the SSD drive. Be aware of overheating issues—temperatures around 4500rpm and 89°C while idle are concerning. Verify you've removed any plastic covers on the cooler, applied thermal paste correctly, and secured it firmly. If removal is necessary, replace the thermal paste as well. For guidance, consult someone experienced. It's also wise to keep identical RAM modules, avoiding mixed types. If your RAM requirement is under 16GB, consider removing the smaller 8GB Micron module.
