Hello, my name is Nicolas. I used to have an HP EliteBook 8440p, but I switched to a new desktop. I wanted to keep it for portable use and installed a PNY 240GB SATA III SSD with Windows 7. It runs fine on my current PC, but it freezes during startup. I remember using an old hard drive with a bloated Windows 10 version, which worked but now seems to be conflicting with the SSD. I’ve tried using it on my desktop and it functions well, so I’m unsure what’s causing the issue. Apologies for the wrong category. Thanks - Nicolas
