Try to understand what’s happening step by step. Your Windows 11 insider build has been stable for a while, but after an update it started acting strangely. Two nights ago it asked for an update and you allowed it to proceed. After that, you turned it off and came back two days later—still unable to log in. The login box keeps blinking and clearing, even though you have the correct PIN and password. You also noticed no network connection or adapter was detected during the process. When you tried Safe Mode with networking enabled, it worked, but creating a new admin account without a password didn’t help. In normal mode it’s still not working. There are driver errors in Device Manager, especially for network and Wi-Fi adapters, showing code 37. When you leave the PC on the login screen every hour, it hard reboots. You can access it in Safe Mode but not in regular mode. Someone, please help resolve this issue.

If you have no data to worry about, I would just use another computer to crate a Windows 11 MCT and do a clean install. If you do have Data to worry about get it off with either another computer or by installing windows on another drive and pulling the data off. and then do a clean install.

I will ditto this, but only if both drives are accessible at the same time, or there is a second computer to run the drive at as an external drive. If it's his only computer, then running the second drive would be impossible without a second S/ATA. And you can't pull it off the drive the data is on since there is no OS to let's say push it to the cloud or use a usb

Use USB tethering to connect your Android phone once you reach the login screen. The required drivers are often unnecessary, and you may be able to sign in with your MS account. Note that this is why people don’t suggest installing an insider program on devices where they play a key role.

Have you attempted to restart and remove the latest update?

Attempted to link Android phone via USB tether; login still fails despite clearing password—just a blink. Likely needs a fresh install. Other audio issues present. I have three drives, the OS is on the NVME one, and data/stl library on the others. Can all data be moved to the two later drives, unplugged, wiped, and reinstalled on the NVME drive? Also, TPM might complicate this process.

I haven't attempted this before, but I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Also, in safe mode I linked the Android USB cable and when I accessed the update options, the settings window appeared as if it were malfunctioning.

Just reinstall Steam and set your downloads to the correct location in Steam. You can also restore your files and company information by backing them up elsewhere. Everything seems to work fine.

Before you reinstall Windows, your large HDD already holds all your files without any operating system. Your idea of backing everything up and then reinstalling on the NVMe is feasible. The fact that Windows 11 uses TPM encryption for that version means the drive will remain protected unless you restore a clean installation. Yes, this approach should work if you follow proper steps to avoid data loss.
