This appears to be a recurring problem, though I thought I’d post it so others could assist. I recently replaced my SSD with a new Kingston A400 SATA 256GB model after it kept filling up and causing launch issues with the operating system. It wouldn’t properly detect in BIOS, so I upgraded to a Kinston SSD M.2 NVMe 1TB, cloned the old drive using Macrium, but the startup problems persisted—especially when the PC wouldn’t recognize the disk. Eventually, I performed a clean install and wiped the drive, using the installation USB with the OS installer. During setup, I encountered an error saying “Cannot create a new partition or find an existing one.” After some research, I tried disabling unnecessary storage devices, removed my Logitech G502 mouse (which had internal memory), and rebooted. That seemed to resolve the issue. I’m not sure if anyone else has faced this, but it was unusual and might be useful for future troubleshooting. This experience came after several Windows installs, so I thought sharing could help. P.S.: Sorry for the language—I’m not fluent yet.
