Hi everyone, welcome back as a new member. I’ve set up the following configuration: Ryzen TR 3960X, ROG Zenith II Extreme Alpha, 128 GB DDR4 4000, ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 3090 OC, 24GB EVGA, 1300W power supply. My problem is that RAM functions properly but when I power off the system after a long night it fails to boot. I need to wait a few minutes, then reboot until BIOS enters safe mode and it works normally. Any advice on resolving this cold boot issue? I haven’t found a DRAM training setting in BIOS—maybe the name is different. I’m using DOCP and I’m clocking at 3600 or 3533 to avoid any conflicts. Running RAM at stock speed (2400) works without problems. Thanks!

This essentially indicates it isn't a complete stable output. It feels stable in perception but not fully reliable.

We’re checking stability through intensive testing. 128 GB of RAM is impressive, but handling it at full capacity puts a heavy load on the memory controller. For solid verification, you usually run specialized tools like GSAT or OCCT. See the guide here: https://github.com/integralfx/MemTestHel...aster/DDR4 OC Guide.md. Running a full 128 GB test would require several days, which is why I spent 8–9 hours testing 32 GB with GSAT.

I tested memtest86 overnight without any errors across several runs. For work, I regularly play games and run it daily, and there were no issues except for a cold boot. I believe the RAM is fine since I haven’t experienced crashes or BSODs. Running it at 2400MHz should resolve the problem, though boosting to 2400mhz would help. The RAM is rated for 4000MHz, so staying under that won’t cause issues. The main concern seems to be PCIE 4.0, which appears to resist excessive overclocking. My board halts at Load VGA BIOS when it fails to respond. EDIT: Thanks for the link. I’ve encountered this before a few times. I don’t focus on RAM-heavy overclocking, but if DOCP adjustments and some settings tweaks work, I’d be happy. Otherwise, I’ll revert to a lower frequency.
