I recently enhanced my PC's RAM and installed a GSkill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 on the motherboard. The other RAM (MPPU2GBPC1600) disconnected unexpectedly. Both were supposed to be 2GB, but I expected four GB. Despite that, the Task Manager showed only two GB, and the CPU-Z reported four GB with single-channel usage. Can someone clarify this discrepancy? I'm just trying to upgrade my old computer.
