To support the concept of using DDU, after moving from 1080 Ti to 3090 I followed your steps—removed the drivers, switched the graphics card, reinstalled drivers (without DDU), and each time turning off my PC avoided the BSOD. Once I added a single DDU, the issue disappeared permanently.

The BSOD hasn't shown yet, likely because reinstalling drivers with DDU resolved the issue

Occasionally you experience fortune and it's the basic aspects... nice that it resolved, wish the problem remains stable!
