I don’t push my CPU beyond its limits, and buying another cooler feels like a chore. Will the Prism Wraith fit a 5800X or 5700G under heavy use? I already own a 3700X. I really enjoy my current setup with a strong attachment, and I haven’t considered upgrading. Just curious. My build was built with Intel before switching to AMD. It was an i7-9700K, and I relied on an AIO since it tends to overheat during intense games. The process of taking it apart and putting it back together for upkeep is tiring, and I’m not in the mood for extra expense on an air cooler right now.
Varies by situation, room conditions, etc., but typically reaches the higher side of the temperature range. Anticipate 80-90°C during extended heavy use. As long as it meets your needs, it should suffice. (5800X) The 5700G will likely run less powerfully.
The 5800x isn’t included with a built-in cooler. Unless you already own a Wraith Prism, it doesn’t make sense to purchase one—there’s a much better option available for just $10 more.
It seems the person mentioned earlier probably owns the prism. Otherwise, I’d be in agreement.
RTX2070 Super is fine with me. Upgrading doesn’t seem necessary. My current CPU works well for me, and I haven’t hit 90°C yet. Before switching to Ryzen, I used an Intel i7-9700K and relied on AIO coolers because of their heat issues. Setting it up and taking it down is quite a hassle, and I’m not keen on buying another air cooler.
