I own an I7 4770 and am considering an upgrade, but it’s still functioning perfectly as expected. Spending around $1,500 on a Ryzen upgrade seems excessive if the performance boost isn’t noticeable. If the gain doesn’t justify that cost, it wouldn’t be worth it. I’m holding off until next year. In the meantime, I’d prefer to get an I7 K CPU for overclocking, but only if I can find one under $50 CAD. Otherwise, maybe focus on better peripherals or a high-quality audio setup—then dive into audiophile keyboards.
