I encountered an unusual message on my printer when it started up. Error code 003-356 (Code:0000000ah) appeared. I searched online, but couldn't find a clear fix. Here are the actions I took:

1. **Ink** – Used fresh cartridges from 123Inkjet. The printer asked to insert them, which is a positive sign. I cleaned the cartridge slots with a dry microfiber and emptied any waste toner.
2. **Software** – Accessed the CE menu by pressing 4,5,6 on the number pad, then entered code 225 for the password. I selected 'initialize vram emmc', followed by job and reset options. Still no success.
3. **Network** – Confirmed the printer was connected; PC detected it properly. I updated the firmware using a USB cable, but it didn’t work.

This issue happened unexpectedly. Any advice would be appreciated!

Del advises removing the data cable, navigating to Maintenance, and selecting Defaults to refresh the NVRAM.

I couldn't locate that information in the CE menu. The default settings or factory reset options weren't available there.
