Hi everyone, I have this weird issue with all my computers when printing to my network printer: If I print from a browser (FF, Edge, Chrome) while the printer is out of paper, then windows puts the printer into "out of paper" state (as expected). However, the printer remains in this state even when paper is added into the printer . Thus printing from this computer now is no longer working. - Other computers (where windows has not put the printer into "out of paper" state) can print normally after the paper tray has been refilled. To "manually" exit the "out of paper" state, I can either restart the computer (inconvenient) or go tho windows printer settings and run the windows troubleshooter for printers (tedious) which will report no error but still will trigger windows to put the printer back into its normal state. Then printing works as expected again. This issue doesn't show up when I print from Adobe Acrobat DC . Printing works normally after paper has been added back to the printer's tray and windows doesn't get the printer stuck into "out of paper" state. However, if the printer is stuck into "out of paper" state due to a previous attempt to print from a browser while the printer was out of paper, then printing from AA DC (or from anything else) doesn't work. All computers are running the current version of Win10 and all browsers are updated to their current version as well. Should I contact HP (the manufacturer of the printer)? This sounds more like a windows problem to me... Thank you very much in advance for your help. Best, -a-

The printer's firmware update resolved the problem (possibly temporarily).
