They might only drop 10-20 USD in cost, but that’s not universal. The X470 hasn’t really dropped since the X570 came out, so I’m skeptical about the X570 getting cheaper too. Most folks don’t notice when companies or stores buy parts at a set price—they focus on selling products profitably. This means there’s limited space to simply lower prices.

They should decrease in cost slightly but not significantly. Perhaps around $20 USD. Check the prices for B550 to confirm it fits your budget, or consider whether a B450 would suit you better. If X570 isn't within your range, that might be the next step.
