Amazon frequently changes pricing; it appears they intended to steadily increase costs until a final, non-beta launch.

It seems straightforward on paper yet appears to be an unconventional method for bypassing the steam discount.

It seems like a clear scam at this stage. This shouldn't even be thought of as an Alpha based on what I've heard or seen. Try playing Miscreated instead—it works with the Cry Engine 3 and is more stable.

Near the finish, I spent time in an orchard gathering apples with friends. 10/10 Great game 2014 – I’ve enjoyed a lot from where it stands, but it’s not bad.

The price of 34.99 USD felt high, especially with a 30-buck amount.

DayZ Standalone is a fraudulent scheme where they're diverting funds from the PC version to support the console release. In the last year, only minor changes like hats and ironic backpacks have been made. Stay tuned for the full launch on November 32, 2016.

Consider spending less money instead? I’m not sure if you have a lot of savings, but I definitely don’t. What I mean is I won’t be able to handle the extra $15–20 once everything is fully released. I have a job, but there are bigger priorities I need to cover. Why not buy it right away? And maybe use that $20 to fuel up for getting to class.
