Greetings everyone. Over the last approximately seven months, I’ve observed that my video games—including titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite, and Grand Theft Auto—are exhibiting performance issues, such as sluggish frame rates. While I initially addressed this by reducing all graphical settings (using a 1400x1050 screen resolution while playing and generally setting graphics to low, with the exception of GTA), the problem has intensified recently, resulting in frame rates below 100 in many games. I also dislike playing games with a noticeably pixelated appearance. Considering I’ve never performed any internal computer cleaning, would removing dust potentially improve my system's performance? I have also attempted to restart my computer multiple times, suspecting that malware might be the source of the problem, but the issue persisted. I sincerely hope you can provide assistance, and thank you in advance for your support.
Maintaining your computer’s hardware could marginally enhance speed, however, this should not be your primary focus. It's possible your storage space is nearing capacity. Additionally, certain security software or cleanup utilities can actually decrease computer efficiency.
Several weeks prior, I performed a system restore on my computer—it shouldn’t be nearing capacity now.
