This version is patch 1.2 and resolves many stability issues. Consider using compatibility mode for XP, 256-bit color, and running with admin privileges. The Battle of the Gods expansion works well with Windows 7. IF you locate your disks, try installing it on Windows 10 to test further.

Thanks, I appreciate your update. After encountering the XP bluescreen during the VMware installation, I checked my RAM individually. Consistent results across all three configurations confirmed that issue. Despite the odds, I proceeded with testing. As a reminder, the laptop I used in college had a defective stick, leading to frequent bluescreens until it was replaced.

By the way, if this thread fits better in the Troubleshooting section of the forum, I apologize for posting it here.

I encountered the identical issue too. I'm using Windows 10. I executed white.exe in Windows XP compatibility mode and fixed it immediately.
