Pressing the audio/volume button has no effect once the system restarts.
Clicking the audio/volume button doesn't work after a restart. This issue was fixed on an old laptop but now occurs on a new one. It's happening in 2020... How can I make it last?
Click the taskbar, select Task Manager, then navigate to the startup section. Look for any program named "Realtek" or "Audio" and ensure it's set to Enabled.
