It appears that when you place your finger 2 cm away from a certain spot on the screen, it begins to press intensely without actually touching it. This is observed in the Huawei PSMART 2019 Emui 12 and Android 11 SVID_20230129_182240_1 video file.

This was once a function on older devices, but it might still be present here as well—it's typical. Smartphone touchscreens rely on capacitance to detect how close your finger is, sensing a bit beyond your actual skin.

It works only at certain areas, like when the finger is placed 2 cm away, it keeps pressing endlessly. Sometimes it taps quickly without a pattern.

Adjust the power switch on your room lights. You might notice changes. If nothing happens, experiment by lightly touching and not touching the switch—watch for a stopping sound. Move your finger closer or farther and observe if the clicking stops or continues.

I’d probably call this "feature" since it didn’t appear in the first semester but became noticeable after some time. It mostly hit the same area a few times, reached its limit, and then after two weeks of the screen breaking down it got really bad.
