I don't fully share that view. MKB is extremely competitive. Actually, most top dogfighters rely mainly on mouse and keyboard.

You can change between the Mustang Alpha and Aurora without paying extra, even if it's not the highest tier. Many skilled pilots use dual joysticks for that reason.
