Hi everyone! I'm considering a 1440p build and want to use RT for smooth gameplay in AAA titles. I'm also aiming for longevity, so I've selected some components.
Thanks for your help!

It looks good to me.
4080 is capable of handling 1440p gaming smoothly.
The remaining components will function flawlessly.

For improved response speed, aim for a significantly lower CAS/CL RAM timing than 30.
This card supports 4K resolution in any game available, yet a 2K monitor is still affordable—28 inches with 4K at 144hz.
Windows 10 Home 64bit can be fine-tuned for stability; Microsoft released Windows 12 as the next stable release, while Windows 11 remains experimental and potentially risky.
There doesn’t appear to be a UPS surge or brownout protection listed among these options, meaning you risk losing everything during a single surge.

1) On DDR5?! I haven't seen a CAS lower than 30.
2) I bought a great 1440p display that should last a long time.
3) That's a good observation about Windows. Plus, Windows 11 is a free upgrade if I choose that route.
4) I always keep a surge protector on hand. It wasn't mentioned as a component.

I recommend an ATX 3.0 power supply such as this one:

Everything else seems fine.
