I recently purchased a Samsung 990 Pro from Amazon, but formatting the SSD causes my computer to bluescreen. I’m currently using an ASUS B550-F gaming motherboard, a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, 4x 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3200 CL16 RAM, and an MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming X Trio. The system shows the 970 EVO Plus in BIOS and Windows Disk Manager, and I don’t think the SSD is installed wrong. It’s not a compatibility problem. My specs are listed as above, and after resetting my PC due to game crashes, it now boots without issues. I suspect the Event Viewer GameInput service might be the culprit, though I couldn’t pinpoint it earlier.
