1050ti isnt bad, much better than my GTX 580, i was just saying dont cheap out on it, something half decent would work for the GPU, i just know some video editing software is RAM intensive As @SupaKomputa said, track RAM usage, do some research into it, if it really uses more than 256GB of RAM then go 3995WX, if not go 3990X, just remember to not cheap out on the GPU because with how things are now a lot of people would try to get away with a GPU that is too weak to handle the task at hand, I personally would think a 3990X and 256GB of RAM is easily enough though, if your not too pressed for time on this you could also wait for threadripper 5000

Only eight RAM slots are available, so you can fill them completely with a total of 1024GB (using 128GB units). You'll have to wait until 256GB modules arrive to reach 2TB. By then, you might need to switch to a DDR5 system. Also keep in mind these high-capacity modules typically operate at slower speeds.
