Repeat often to master the map layout and see how experienced players use clever strategies. Also, invest in a decent mouse. You don’t need the G502 Proteus Spectrum. Begin with a solid, dependable gaming mouse that offers precise tracking. In CS, accuracy matters, so ensure your mouse moves exactly where you intend.

Get a practice map with customizable crosshairs. Frankie shares an aim tutorial video and a few tips. The War Owl offers some instructional clips. I haven’t played enough to reach a rank yet, but I’m usually near the top or #1 in games. Stay calm during each shot, focus on the head, use the AK-47, practice steady shooting, wait for your aim to settle before firing, and avoid pre-firing. Wait until your crosshairs land on the target. Spend time on the aim practice map Frankie demonstrated—it really improved my skills. Once you’re comfortable aiming and shooting, watch videos explaining how firearms work now. They’ve all changed recently. After that, it’s about staying positive and working together. Stay safe—avoid trolls, report threats, and don’t get frustrated. I mainly play Dust 2, so just coordinate with your team to stick to solid strategies like “let’s go long A.” Save this round, aim mid to the b tunnels, and eventually try using grenades. You might also check out some 3kliksphilip videos, learn basic callouts, and ask questions like “where’s short A?” when you’re unsure. Never lose patience—politely end fights with “There’s no reason to get mad; we’re all enjoying ourselves and trying our best.” Always praise teammates for good shots, even if they miss, drop a gun, and then you can pick one up yourself.
