PowerPoint performance is really poor!
PowerPoint performance is really poor!
Have you saved it to your main hard drive and confirmed it works, to ensure it isn’t just a flawed PowerPoint file? -Jason
The laptop features an i5 chip (4 threads, 2 cores), 6GB of RAM, a mediocre Radeon graphics card with 512MB VRAM, and a 500GB hard drive. I'm connecting it via a USB 3.0 memory stick.
We must first determine the source of the issue. Insert the USB stick into another PC to see if the problem persists. If it doesn't occur there, the issue likely lies with your own PC. If it does occur, copy the data to your main drive and test. If the copied version fails, the problem is with the USB stick. Share the outcome so we can assist you accordingly.
It should handle a PowerPoint presentation easily. Just confirm the laptop is in battery saver mode. Check the file size and whether it contains much embedded or external content. Look at the number of animations per slide and the file format (PPT or PPTX). Also, verify the PowerPoint version you're using. Let me know if you need further help. -Jason
