Playing games such as Fortnite in Creative sometimes results in high ping, like 30 or more, which leads to stuttering. In public areas, ping can spike to around 60, but you experience more lag and constant stutters. A powerline connection might help reduce these issues and possibly lower your ping further. Since you can't use Ethernet due to distance from the router, a wired setup could be beneficial.

Based on my observations, powerline's latency seems inconsistent across the board.
