I'm trying to link my 285K PC with an OLED TV that supports VRR at 120Hz. Ideally, I want to enjoy 4K gaming with smooth dips just under 120fps, aiming for over 60fps. I mainly play story games and rarely do fast-paced multiplayer like Fortnite. If my PC can run 4K natively, that would be great. I'm considering AMD cards since I use BazziteOS (a Fedora-based OS). I was thinking of the 9060XT, 9070, or 9070XT models. What are your thoughts? Some people say the 9070 is about 10-15% less powerful than the 9070XT but uses 30% less power. I’d prefer a quieter, cooler card if possible. Even if FPS stays around 120, it wouldn’t matter much because the visuals should look similar to native 4K.

What I’m expecting:
- Tempest Rising at 120fps on 1440p (on a 2K monitor, not the TV)
- Smooth story titles in 4K on the OLED screen
- No strict need for exceeding 144 or 120 if it looks good

Titles, I'm not sure. I just finished Last of Us 1 and 2 (five times so far), Witcher 3, RDR2, SIFU, Baldur's Gate 3, Prince of Persia, Death Stranding, Elden Ring, and Uncharted on my console. These are the games I usually enjoy. GTA6 is coming soon, so that will be one too. I'm also looking forward to new releases with compelling stories and great visuals. I'd like to try Lies of P and other similar experiences as well.

1440p and 4K demand significant graphics performance. I'd recommend the 9070 XT even with the higher power consumption.
The RX 9070 still performs adequately.
A 9060 XT with 16GB memory seems insufficient for 4K gaming under typical configurations, especially when considering your display's capabilities.
