The Corsair Crystal 570x doesn’t include an HDD Led or Reset switch as described in the manual. I’ve connected the power cable in various ways and placed it according to the instructions, but nothing changed.

Stupid question, but is your power supply switched on, plugged into power strip, and is your strip powered on , and is your wall socket also switched on?

Also, are all the cables correctly positioned inside the PC? My anxiety about forgetting to connect the CPU power was really high after missing several attempts.

I felt really anxious about a device a while back. It turned out the strip connected to the main power outlet, which was also linked to the light switch that wasn’t working.

The wall outlet is supplying power properly, confirmed by testing with my phone. All the cables I photographed are properly linked to the right spots on my power source—a 80+ gold 750-watt ASUS RogStrix setup.

Remove the protective layer from the GPU before starting it. The PSU back switch should illuminate when power reaches the motherboard. You can also gently connect the power pins to the switch using a screwdriver—this mimics the same function as the physical switch, just briefly interrupting the circuit.

Ensure all PSU to motherboard connections are securely fastened, particularly the larger ones. These can be tricky to fit tightly.

All connections are confirmed numerous times. The motherboard remains unaffected. A switch on the power supply might indicate something is active.

The board is fastened to the case using the provided brackets and all connection points are securely tightened.
