I'm setting up a new system with various components. I'll use four 140mm fans, six 120mm fans, three on the cooler and three on the side of the case. My Corsair RM1000e 1000w power supply is ready. I have an ASUS TUF GAMING NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4080 SUPER, along with three SATA Seagate hard drives and two 16GB DDR5 Corsair Dominator drives. The power supply calculator gave conflicting results, so I'm unsure if 1000w is sufficient or if a higher wattage is needed.
1000w is adequate. The reason for the high demand remains unclear.
I have room for additional fans. Never have too much air, you know.

It's okay to overprovision a PSU.
It will only consume the power it needs.

Optimizing their placement is more crucial.
What is the model and make of your case?
Your setup is ideal for a high-performing air cooler. Incorporate three 140mm front intakes to provide ample cooling air for the motherboard, GPU, and CPU. The single 140mm rear exhaust should efficiently channel the airflow over the components and expel it from the case quickly. Adding extra fans might disrupt the natural airflow. However, you can still try different configurations.
Airflow works well, but adding more fans increases noise. Keep this in mind. Your plan seems overly extensive from the ongoing talks. Consider @geofelt's advice about the quantity.
Drop the RMe, it's acceptable but not the best choice. As previously mentioned, 1000w is fine. Opposite of what you think, too many fans can actually hurt airflow based on their arrangement. Filling every slot just because might not give the results you expect. Power supply calculators are unreliable; they often ignore GPU power spikes. As I suggested earlier, over-provisioning works better and can be adjusted between systems or combined with more demanding parts.
Can't afford expensive power supplies. I stick with what fits my budget—removing the 3 140mm fans and using Corsair QX120 fans because of the lights, plus the Corsair H150 Elite Capillax cooler.
There are 16 fans in total. I'm using an older Lian Li case with a 2 x 120mm intake, one 120mm + one 80mm exhaust, along with a 7950X, NH-D15, GTX 4070, five 3.5" hard drives, and three M.2 NVMe drives. For extended video transcoding sessions, I might not have sufficient fans to ensure proper cooling. The current setup creates too much airflow for linear cooling.
