Power problems with PC
Hello guys, sorry if I'm in the wrong topic.
I've been having issues with my PC whenever lots of devices are running in the house.
I tested for several days with devices on/off and came to the conclusion that whenever there is "big" power consumption in the house my PC runs poorly.
Could running a new line on the main circuit and putting my room on an individual fuse help?
If not is there anything I can do to make things better? (UPS,etc.)
Thanks in advance.
They'll reach out on Monday, and most issues arise when the washing machine operates alongside the same circuit as my room.
What is the model and make of your power supply?
Some might struggle with low voltage conditions.
Begin by using a $10 outlet tester to ensure your wall source is correctly grounded with the right polarity.
Then, consult a licensed electrician to inspect the circuit.
A dedicated circuit for your PC room would be ideal.
If that isn't possible, a suitable UPC can help stabilize the current.
Your PSU is solid.
A dedicated circuit might be the solution.
If you can't manage that, consider a UPS.
I've struggled with unstable power for a while, but an APC 1500 UPS helped me handle the fluctuations.
