Hello,
I’m using a compact computer for running game servers. Previously, I had an i7 3770 with 16GB RAM on a 1U 200w PSU, which needed 24pin plus 4pin power connectors. I now have a Ryzen 7 5700G and upgraded to a MOBO with 24pin plus 8pin power. The system starts and boots fine with the 4-pin supply, but I’ve experienced two crashes followed by reboots. In the Windows Event Viewer, the only errors are linked to my game server software. Could this be due to insufficient power from the PSU?
My Ryzen 7 5700G has a 65W TDP and no graphics card. I have a SATA SSD and 16GB DDR4 RAM, which doesn’t seem enough to reach the 200w usage claimed.

I previously owned a P8H61-i with an i7 3770 and 16gb ram. The system operates with a 1U 200w power supply. Could you tell me the age of the PSU, its make and model? My concern is whether the computer might be struggling due to insufficient power. I noticed that after two uninterrupted crashes and reboots, only game server software errors appeared in the Windows Event Viewer. Is this related to an underpowered PSU? If the unit lacks the required connectors for your build, it could be because:
1) The wrong PSU was chosen
2) The incorrect components were used (not just the PSU)
Also, did you reinstall the operating system during the platform change? What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?

I changed the bios to the latest release—it wouldn't start without the update.
For the operating system, I just replaced my SSD without reinstalling anything; Windows updated the drivers on the first boot.
It's been running smoothly for nearly three days straight, with no reboots, and it handles the load well. Probably just a coincidence.
