Power cycle toggles the PSU based on the power button activation.
I recently assembled my first computer for a friend and noticed a minor problem when it powers on. The power supply and fan switches off after a second and then restart, yet the system functions normally afterward. Power continues to flow through the machine throughout, with RGB components like RAM and fans remaining active. It doesn’t appear to be a major issue since the PC operates correctly, but it seems unusual for this behavior to occur.
What power source? If the PSU shuts down, power should be disconnected. Resetting the fan is normal for many devices.
