I purchased Crosshair VIII Extreme for my new gaming PC. I'm attempting to swap it with an older AMD motherboard, but the power connections differ slightly. I need advice on whether to connect the power cable to the 24-pin connector or the 6-pin one, and what type of power cable is appropriate. I'm using a full Molex PSU from a 850W model.

This 6-pin connector provides extra PCIe power. Ignore it unless you're using liquid nitrogen overclocking.

I don’t understand any of those terms. Having a PC for years doesn’t mean I ever overclocked, and it shouldn’t affect the board’s performance.
