CPU: AMD Ryzen 5700g (previously I7 6700k)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 (previously MSI H110M PRO-D)
RAM: 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance cmk16gx4m2b3200c16
GPU: Evga GTX 1070 (used to be)
Power Supply: Roughly 650W Evga modular gold PSU (model uncertain)
Anyway, at first everything seemed fine during installation, but soon problems emerged. First, my webcam started glitching—flashing green and stopping unexpectedly while playing videos or running games. I updated drivers, changed USB ports, tested on another machine (it worked), adjusted BIOS settings, but nothing helped. I also checked if my VR headset (Vive) would function, and it failed too. Launching SteamVR either caused the headset to drop or its display drivers to crash. If I push it a bit, the headset sometimes works, but it keeps losing video connections and drivers crashing. It’s hard to say exactly what’s causing all this trouble. Is my motherboard or CPU the problem? I’m really frustrated.

Did you reinstall Windows after replacing the CPUs and motherboard? Your 5700G includes an integrated GPU (iGPU); are you experiencing the same problems as with your GTX 1070? (For example, does switching monitors affect performance?) Have you updated the latest BIOS/UEFI for your motherboard? B550 and X570 had recognized USB issues that AMD resolved via BIOS and chipset updates. Regarding chipset drivers, are you using the most recent ones?
