Hey there, I bought an Asus UX302LA (refurbished) with a backlit keyboard. When I got it, I made recovery media on a USB drive. To do this, I had to run a "Clean boot" using a Microsoft employee's method—disabling all non-Microsoft apps via Task Manager. After that, the recovery drive worked, but now my keyboard's backlight isn't functioning properly. It only flashes briefly when the laptop powers on, so I know the LEDs aren't dead. I've tried using the backlight toggle keys, but nothing changes. Anyone know what could be causing this? Also, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask.
What type of keyboard is this? Are there downloadable programs available on their site for it? Also, this would look better in troubleshooting. By the way, I haven’t seen you around before—hi!
