Hey there, forum members. I've been facing some strange behavior lately, and it seems to be coming from my RAM. Every time I power off and turn the PC back on, it restarts itself every second. The only solution I've tried so far is swapping the RAM modules, which now works fine. This issue started recently, even though I've had this build for over a year without any problems before. Today I attempted to fix it by removing the motherboard battery and reinserting it, but it still doesn't seem resolved. I'm wondering if XMP settings might be the culprit, but I haven't adjusted anything related to it. I just turned XMP on, and the board handled it normally. Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? My setup is a TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS with Corsair VENGEANCE® RGB PRO SL RAM (16GB DDR4, 3600MHz CL18).

Hey there! It seems like you're dealing with a potential issue with the motherboard. Based on what you shared, it might be dying, but everything should still be covered under warranty. You could reach out to customer support for an RMA and follow their advice—likely they'll suggest testing one stick at a time in each slot.

The system behaves similarly to what's displayed in the initial ten seconds of the video. It runs on a TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS motherboard with D4 RAM, an i5 13600K processor, and a 3600MHz CL18 CPU. The GPU is a Corsair VENGEANCE® RGB PRO SL with 16GB DDR4 memory. The power supply is a Segotep GP series 500W unit rated 80 PLUS GOLD. A potential issue might be related to the RAM placement—currently in A2 and B2, consider moving it to A1 and B1. The restart occurs only after several hours of inactivity, which could indicate a power management or thermal concern.

A2B2 ensures correct placement. It's advised to reach out to customer support. It's wiser to initiate a return if needed rather than facing issues later.
