Volts are stable with no major fluctuations or issues. I can test Cinebench and check performance. SSDs work well and are very fast, especially the Fury Renegade Gen4s. EDIT - Cinebench 14230 appears to be a typical benchmark for this CPU, possibly slightly improved. Updated February 3, 2023 by ulasamosa

It matches what you're aiming for, so the CPU should be okay. Run the Heaven benchmark on the GPU for a thorough test, even though it's an older test but can handle most modern GPUs well.

192 FPS Score 4830 Quality Ultra Tesselation Extreme I didn’t find a 4K option, but at 1440p I saw IGN run a benchmark and it came in at 4710, which looks good. There were no glitches or artifacts, the temperature stayed around 80°C during testing.

hmph, weird...seems your hardware is doing fine just in games...Id suspect those internet benchmarks then, Either they got lucky and snagged golden samples, there doing some OC trickery their not telling about or its lies...

I’d try to check for differences but my GPU only supports up to 1440p.

After reviewing your response, it’s hard to see why your configuration should be missing performance. I’m wondering what adjustments could help boost results for a YouTube video. It seems unlikely that pre-selected cards would disappoint viewers if they received noticeably weaker content after a review. Maybe your card is just slightly less reactive, still fully within the expected range.

Looking at the basics, two aspects stand out as potentially problematic – cooling and power supply. First, the 5800X3D is very sensitive to heat; even a small change in airflow made a noticeable difference in temperature. I saw a big jump in R23 readings after relocating the front-mounted cooler and swapping the fans for Arctic PWM models. Second, the 850W power supply is crucial here. If you skipped upgrading to something like the 13900K, you should have experienced shutdowns. Make sure your BIOS allows you to pick the PCIe generation and set it to the highest setting if needed.

I found some useful insights on this situation. Since we're dealing with a sci-fi scenario, our cooling solutions are quite limited. The Noctua NH-D9L cooler worked well; even after extended gaming sessions, it rarely reached 80°C and let alone the 90°C mark. That means temperature management wasn't the main concern. The PCIe speed was confirmed at 16x in both BIOS and GPUZ. As for power delivery, the PSU didn’t seem to be under strain—my 7900 series ran just under 350W at full load, with a comfortable buffer for additional components. The CPU handled heavy stress loads well, drawing around 50W during typical gaming, which is well within safe limits. In the worst case, I was looking at 480W total, leaving plenty of headroom for extra storage and fans. Compared to my previous build with an MSI Trident and a 330W PSU, this setup felt solid and reliable. I’m not worried about power consumption at all. A couple days later, I saw another video showing similar performance on a newer system with a 13th-gen i9 and DDR5, maintaining comparable frame rates. This suggests these builds are well-optimized. I’m happy to have the feedback and feel confident about the situation. Thanks for your input!
