Recently, my Dell XPS 8900 began crashing intermittently and now fails to boot. When powering on, the fan runs for just a moment before stopping completely with no display or sound. Normally, the system shows a blinking LED to check problems, but that also isn’t responding. I’ve changed the CMOS, rearranged the RAMs, and even replaced the power supply, yet the issue persists. Could the VRM circuit on the motherboard be damaged, given it triggered the fan briefly?
