Is this a faulty chip or am I overlooking something important?
I've reviewed numerous guides and experimented with various overclocking methods, applying tim (Pea Sized Dot, Artic MX4 - Used Artic Cleaning Solution + Prepare surface).
I'm unable to push the clock beyond 4.1Ghz stable.
Temperatures have reached their maximum.
I mixed the RAM and attempted to set a D.O.C.P. to load the 1600mhz XMP profile.
I've also tried these configurations:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1348623/amd-b...otherboard
I began with the stock voltage and gradually increased it until stable at 4.1Ghz.
MotherBoard:
• ASUS 970 Pro Gaming mainboard with Aura lighting, AM3+ processor socket, and built-in SupremeFX 8-channel high definition audio
Ram:
• Corsair XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 at 1600mHz, CL11 (11-11-11-30)
GPU:
• EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC Graphics Card, 4 GB GDDR5
CPU:
• Unlocked AMD FX-6300 Black Edition, 6-core CPU running at 3.5GHz with a boost of 4.1GHz
GPU Fan:
• Hyper 212 - switched to a SP120mm Corsair fan
Best overclock achieved, 20.5x multiplier, 200 frequency, 1.308V, Digi power settings adjusted; guide CP/NB freq set to 1.25
Inside Case: I think the fans are correctly oriented.

I have an FX6350 and an MSI mobo, I've been playing around with it. I encountered the same issue at 4.3 and kept experimenting. Eventually, I switched to a liquid cooling system and am now testing with Prime to see if it maintains performance at 4.9. I suspect the problem isn't with the chip itself, but possibly something else—maybe an aftermarket cooler is needed.

Do you have any ideas or notice anything that doesn't fit as you're just starting with overclocking?
