I haven't considered it. The unusual part is that the re-paste performed well for the first five days, then changed direction...

I notice that after 24 to 36 hours, I should inspect the mounting on my custom builds. These aren't spring-loaded, so the situation is different. Instead of a spring action, the TIM material gradually releases, reducing the mounting pressure over time. The amount of release depends on how thick I apply the thermal paste. Are you experiencing similar problems?
