Post codes
Post codes
Occasionally the system seems to act oddly. Sometimes post codes just indicate standard functioning. I’m not sure what those numbers mean, but a code doesn’t necessarily signal a problem.
A0 : System setup began. (initiating hard drive access/activation) 40 : Not found? (manual doesn’t list it; might appear as CPU temperature based on BIOS) FB/F8 : Reserved (proceed, boot status looks normal).
It seems the instructions weren't included in the manual. Perhaps I misread it. *But it does appear to be standard, nothing suspicious.*
Occasionally codes appear without needing detailed fixes. Some show up mainly to provide data rather than indicate issues. When you begin the setup, all indicators flash as the system boots through its initial steps. If a code stops the process, it doesn’t necessarily mean that code is faulty—it just signals where the boot sequence paused.
