I updated my profile yesterday and observed a start time of 76.6 seconds. When I disable the settings, it takes about 35 to 15 seconds to boot again. CPU specs: Ryzen 7 7700X, MOTHERBOARD B650, RAM Fury Beast 32 GB DDR5-6000, GPU NITRO RX 7900 XTX, case Corsair 4000D, airflow keyboard Keychron K4, mouse Razer Basilisk V3, headset SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, wireless mic SteelSeries Alias.
Which RAM modules are installed? Using slots other than 2 and 4 can lead to very slow startup. If you're using slots 2 and 4, adjust the BIOS settings and turn on Memory Context Restore. MSI usually turns this off by default, and enabling it will skip memory optimization when EXPO is active, which should reduce boot times to around 15 seconds for most systems.
It's in versions 2 and 4, so I revisited the BIOS update. Now it's back to 39 seconds, and Memory Context Restore is automatically enabled. However, some users report it causes crashes and instability.
On MSI boards, auto is currently disabled. It needs to be turned on. With the latest BIOS releases it usually works well, though it can sometimes lead to problems—most notably stopping the system from restarting, which is becoming less frequent now.
Power-down should be active by default, which isn't a concern. To be honest, I've only noticed it being turned off when memory speeds are extremely high (like 7600+), so it probably wouldn't be a big problem.
