You're experiencing issues where the CPU and RAM lights are on, but the GPU fans aren't spinning and the display isn't showing. It sounds like the GPU might be overheating or not receiving power properly. Check connections, ensure proper cooling, and verify power delivery to the GPU. If the problem persists, consider testing with a different GPU or consulting a technician.

I’d begin by reinstalling your GPU and RAM. Because you mentioned replacing the RAM, I recommend restarting the system several times first. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, I suggest testing your existing components to see if the new RAM is faulty.

I’d probably reposition the CPU using that method first. He suggested removing a fan from the cooler, so it makes sense to verify for any bent pins.

Maybe he didn't actually remove the CPU, or the CPU stuck to the cooler's cold surface when he removed the cooler. If he took off the entire cooler rather than just a single fan while it was running, it would be extremely difficult.

It seems only taking off a fan from the heatsink affects the CPU, cooler attachment, or socket. If the whole heatsink is removed, the CPU wouldn't move at all.

The most effective method, though not the simplest, is to replace each part individually and test what’s causing the issue. I faced the same problem when upgrading my CPU cooler and adding more fans. Once finished, the system would freeze and display an error light, preventing it from booting. Fortunately, having compatible CPUs, GPUs, and RAM helped me pinpoint the fault. Eventually, after swapping everything one by one, the error appeared only when I installed my own RAM sticks. I ordered a replacement kit and reported it for return. Good news—Gskill offers a limited lifetime warranty, and the new unit functioned perfectly afterward.

Everything seems resolved now. It wasn’t clear exactly what was wrong, but the GPU wasn’t booting properly and didn’t start at all. It took a while—3 to 4 hours—to change the RAM. The CPU and memory lights kept flickering. I tried swapping the RAM sticks, which worked once, but I pressed F1 instead of F2 when it should have been F2. It showed a message about hardware changes or a CMOS reset, but only appeared once out of 50 attempts to swap the RAM between two sticks. Eventually, I put the old sticks back in and it booted again with F1 and F2. It worked once more after turning off all four sticks and pressing F2 again. Anyone have any insight into what was happening?
